
Naval Reactors Headquarters Open House
Thank you to everyone who was able to attend and make this event special!

What to Expect
You will be met in the lobby of Building 104 by someone who will greet you and assist you with entering.
*NOTE: Phones and personal electronic devices *will* be allowed during the Open House. Guests may take photos during the event, but please follow any signage and directions from employees.
Each section will have a display area in the building. Sections will be distributed in the main conference room on the first floor as well as throughout the hallways and atrium on the upper floors. There will be maps available to guide you. Guests are invited to walk through the building and visit the displays.
Around 1 p.m., Director Admiral Bill Houston will kick off the event with remarks in the atrium. Guests should gather in the second-floor atrium and around the railings on the upper floors to listen.
During the Open House, Naval Nuclear Laboratory videographers will be set up in conference room 3-2C (third floor) to film video clips from attendees about how the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program has impacted your life and what you think Admiral Hyman G. Rickover would make of the Program today. (NRHQ employees, feel free to stop in anytime on Friday.) There will be a similar opportunity at the Gala on Saturday.
The Naval Reactors by-our-own, for-our-own (NR BOOFOO) committee will pass out previously purchased gear and will have some additional items (lanyards, coins, ornaments, and lapel pins) for sale in conference room 3-19C (third floor).
When:
Friday, July 12, 1 – 4 p.m.
Guests can access the base after 12 p.m. and will be allowed into the Naval Reactors Headquarters, building 104 after 12:45 p.m.

Arrival:
Registered guests will be able to access the Washington Navy Yard through the two manned driving gates at 6th Street SE/M Street SE and 11th Street SE/O Street SE.
Please have IDs ready to show the guards and let them know you are here for the Naval Reactors Open House.
Parking:
Parking is authorized in any available street/surface lot. To use the parking structure closest to Naval Reactors, enter from Isaac Hull Avenue or Patterson Avenue SE. Please ensure the spot is not marked "RESERVED 24/7".
